Acceptance of our Terms of Use
The following Terms of Use apply to DiversityInHospitality.com ("DIH") and WomenInHospitality.com ("WIH"), which are both online initiatives owned and operated by Goodwin & Associates Hospitality Services LLC ("Goodwin & Associates"). We have written this Terms of Use to govern your use of DIH/WIH, our networking section, and our e-newsletter. Our most recent Terms of Use is detailed below and was last updated on January 2, 2008.
DIH/WIH provides a service for prospective employees and employers in the hospitality industry to connect with each other. Our service is not intended in any manner whatsoever to form an employment relationship between DIH/WIH and our users.
By visiting DIH/WIH, networking, creating an account and profile, subscribing to our e-newsletter, or responding to a job posted on DIH/WIH, it is implied that you have read, understand, and agree to our Terms of Use.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY PARTS OF OUR TERMS OF USE, THEN PLEASE EXIT DIH/WIH AND DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT, RESPOND TO JOB POSTINGS, PARTICIPATE IN NETWORKING, OR SUBSCRIBE TO OUR E-NEWSLETTER.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Terms of Use at any time.
We encourage you to check the date of the Terms of Use to ensure that you have read and understand the most current version.
If you continue to use DIH/WIH after changes have been posted to our Terms of Use, then it is also implied that you agree to the changes.

Children
DIH/WIH IS NOT INTENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 YEARS OLD.
Children aged 14 years up to 18 years who are supervised by a parent, teacher or other adult may find it useful to learn about jobs in the hospitality industry.
User Provided Information
You agree to receive communications from us or our clients if you voluntarily provide your personal contact information while on any sections of DIH/WIH. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details on how we may collect, store, share, and use your information.
Prospective Employer's Contact Information
Most jobs posted on DIH/WIH will include contact information, which should only be used to apply for jobs. When appropriate, this contact information may also be used to ask questions or to follow up on an application's status. This contact information shall not be used for harassment, marketing campaigns, commercial interests or any unlawful purpose.
Candidate Profiles
By creating an account and profile on DIH/WIH, you agree to provide only relevant and factual information about your education, experience, skills, and employment history. We reserve the right to review all profiles and delete any accounts that we feel contain inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or offensive material. When you post information to your account you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. Employers will be able to view and store any of your personal information, including your contact information, resume, pictures, and videos. Use your best judgment when sharing this information, as it could potentially affect your career and employment status.
Your Account Profile
By creating an account and profile on DIH/WIH, you agree to provide only relevant and factual information about your education, experience, skills, and employment history. You understand that an employer will receive and review your information and may contact you by phone, email, or mail for an interview. There is no guarantee that any of your responses to job postings will result in a job interview, job offer or similar follow-up from an employer. DIH/WIH is not involved in any manner whatsoever with the employer's decision on how to use the information you post on DIH/WIH.
Networking
By using the FaceBook application and networking on DIH/WIH, you agree to abide by common social networking ethics. This includes providing only accurate information and refraining from harassment by using inappropriate or offensive language. When you enter a social network you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk. Other users will be able to view and store any personal information, comments, pictures, and videos that you share through this section. We advise using caution when posting information or participating in dialogue with other users, as it is impossible to accurately identify the user's name, age, or motives. We are not responsible for any claims that may arise due to information that is posted or shared through the networking section of DIH/WIH.
Outgoing Links
The pages of DIH/WIH, job postings, our articles, our e-newsletters, and our networking sections may contain links to other websites. These websites are owned and operated by other businesses and are not affiliated in any way with DIH/WIH or Goodwin & Associates. We are not responsible for the content on their sites, their privacy policies, their hiring and recruitment practices, their goods or services, their use of cookies, or any transactions that occur through their websites.
Incoming Links
If you own or operate a website, you may include a text link to DIH/WIH. By doing so though, you may not replicate content from DIH/WIH, imply that you are associated with DIH/WIH, imply that we are endorsing your organization, or include negative or false information about DIH/WIH or Goodwin & Associates. You may only use the logos for DIH/WIH with our permission, as these logos are in the process of being trademark protected by the United States Federal Government. You must also make it possible for us to easily contact you and request removal of the links if necessary. If you receive such a request from any member of our organization, then you must agree to remove the mentioned links within 24 hours of notice without any cost or penalty to us.

All content on all pages of DIH/WIH and our e-newsletters is protected by intellectual property laws, including and not limited to applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may only access this information through the Internet for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, republish, transmit, or display any portion of this content onto a website, Intranet, database, directory, written document, or your personal computer. You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or insert any codes to any part of DIH/WIH that would alter the content or functionality of the site.
Trademarks
The names and logos for DIH/WIH are in the process of being trademark protected by the United States Federal Government. It is assumed that all other logos on DIH/WIH and in our e-newsletter are owned by that individual business and are trademark protected. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, republish, transmit, or display any logos found on DIH/WIH without our permission.
Indemnity
By using DIH/WIH, you are agreeing to defend, hold harmless and indemnify DIH/WIH, Goodwin & Associates and any affiliates of DIH/WIH and Goodwin & Associates, including but limited to clients, Corporate Partners and employers participating on the DIH/WIH websites (collectively referred to as "DIH/WIH and affiliates"), and the DIH/WIH and affiliates' employees, officers, directors, agents, partners, members, attorneys, predecessors, successors, contractors,and subsidiaries, as well as any writers contributing articles to DIH/WIH, against any claims resulting from your use of DIH/WIH, our networking section, or our e-newsletters.
Limitation of Liability
DIH/WIH and affiliates and their employees, officers, directors, agents, partners, members, attorneys, predecessors, successors, contractors, and subsidiaries, as well as any writers contributing articles to DIH/WIH and all third parties mentioned on DIH/WIH are not liable for any damages resulting from using or the inability to access DIH/WIH, our articles, our e-newsletters, and our networking section. Job descriptions and advertisements posted on DIH/WIH and in our e-newsletters have been reviewed and approved before being transmitted. We are assuming that this information is accurate; although we can not guarantee it. Termination of Access
DIH/WIH reserves the right to deny a user's access to these websites at any time, without notice, and for any reason, within the sole discretion of DIH/WIH.
Severability
If any provision of this Terms of Use agreement is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal or unenforceable, said provision shall be deemed severed and deleted and neither shall such provision, in its severance or deletion, affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Terms of Use agreement.
Governing Law
This Terms of Use agreement is and shall be subject to, governed by, construed and enforced pursuant to the laws of the State New Hampshire. You consent to the jurisdiction of the New Hampshire courts over any and all claims that you may have against DIH/WIH and affiliates and their employees, officers, directors, agents, partners, members, attorneys, predecessors, successors, contractors and subsidiaries. You also agree that any claim that you may have against DIH/WIH and affiliates and their employees, officers, directors, agents, partners, members, attorneys, predecessors, successors, contractors and subsidiaries shall be filed in a court located in Concord, New Hampshire.
Entire Agreement
This Terms of Use agreement contains the full and complete understanding and agreement between the user of DIH/WIH and DIH/WIH with respect to the use of the DIH/WIH websites; and supersedes all prior agreements, if any, between the user of DIH/WIH and DIH/WIH, whether electronic, oral or written.
